She is currently a student at Johnson College Prep My experience with the filmmaking process and seeing videos on TikTolk about Racism is to let people be informed about what’s going on in the world. And what is causing Racism? I believe that TikTok should not ban or take down videos that are seeking knowledge from Individuals. African american people should use those videos to stand up for our Race of people.

Katherine Carlton

Teacher at Johnson College Prep

As an English teacher at Johnson College Prep High School, I know the power of telling stories and speaking up. This is my first experience with the filmmaking process, but I feel very fortunate to have been able to spread information about shadowbanning and silencing of activists. In the future, you can find me teaching 10th grade literature, where activism and education go hand in hand.
