Hi, I'm Alympia Williams. I am a graduating senior from North Lawndale College Prep. I will be attending my first year at Western Illinois University to study Fashion Designing. Some of my favorite things to do are style hair, design clothing, and just be around my friends. I join this program because I was first introduced to media while working with Free Spirit Media and I enjoyed it very much. I saw this as an opportunity to gain more knowledge and tell a story.

Hello, I'm Melody Terry. I am a sophomore attending Excel Academy Southwest. Some of my favorite things to do are sing, model, and style clothes because I really love fashion. I joined this program because I wanted to learn something new. Learning the basic skills of filming and editing will help me to create my own vlogs centered around fashion.

My name is Sherice Rushing. I am currently the Program Coordinator for Free Spirit Media's HoopsHIgh Sports Broadcasting Program. The things I love to do most are photography and editing. I wanted to be a part of this program because I really enjoy teaching young people and helping them to express their voice through media.

Hello, my name is Myriah McMoore and I am part of the film-making team that helped in creating this documentary. I am an eighth grade student at Acero Cruz. I like to play basketball, watch TikTok, and hang out with my friends and family. Last but not least, I am very competitive in academics as well as in athletics. I am here because I wanted to explore this filmmaking experience. I have learned so much and I am very thankful to have had this opportunity.

Hi everyone. My name is Merci. I’m thirteen years old. Next year I'm going into 8th grade. Something special about me is that I love to eat so many different types of food ranging from Thai, Mexican, Cuban, and Haitian. My name's Gianna Chan. I'm currently an Undergraduate Collaborator for YPRPT, as well as a Northwestern undergrad studying Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Data Science.
